Mentoring: Charleston Hoops Interactive Program “CHIP”
The journey to becoming a successful student-athlete can be extremely challenging. Finding the balance to success on and off the court is key. No athlete has ever been able to achieve and sustain success without the proper support system. There is no person who knows the challenges of being a successful local athlete better than former Charleston athletes. CHIP is a platform that will provide past generations of Lowcountry athletes an opportunity to interact and mentor the youth that are following in their footsteps. Participants will have the opportunity to receive encouragement and advice via weekly zoom calls on handling the challenges of an aspiring student-athlete from mentors that have coaching and playing experience.
